Weirdest Tan Line Ever

So Sunday my daughter and I went to visit with my sister, brother-in-law, and their children.  I wore my "Too Cute To Be A Tourist" maxi dress and topped it with a jean jacket. I was looking super cute if I do say so myself.  However, this caused me to have what I titled this blog- the weirdest tan line ever.  Since it is still a bit chilly outside it did not occur to me that sitting directly in the sun would cause me to burn.(I would like to add that it was only about thirty minutes to an hour but I also have the skin tone of a ghost so...) Now mind you I know better than this.  I was trained in this exact thing.  I am an Esthetician.  I know sun. So you can imagine my shock and dismay to look down and realize that somehow my arms and chest had been burned slightly. 

I pushed up my sleeve to show my fail.

So as you can see, now when I wear something short sleeved, my forearms are bright red and the rest of me is as pale as paper.  So learn from my lesson this spring and summer ladies and wear sunscreen NO MATTER WHAT!!
