I love to wet mine and then squeeze the excess water out and dampen it with a towel. This makes the beauty blender soft and expands it. This smaller beauty blender would be great for applying concealer under the eyes, or for highlighting/contouring more small areas such as the center of the nose. The larger one is ideal for blending in foundation or makeup on larger areas of the face.
