Super Bowl Fun: Recipie Ideas!

Well, if you didn't think you would make it through this week, we made it! It's Friday! Yay! I don't know about you all, but I am so happy to see Friday. Speaking of looking forward to the weekend and having some leisure time, have any of you decided what your plans are for the Super Bowl?

I doubt I host any parties or anything extravagant. But, who doesn't want to have some easy and delicious food while they're watching the game? Plus, I am sure your hubby/boyfriend will love the extra thought you put into making the day a treat! If you are having a party or having friends over, this will give you a few ideas on what you may want to serve them.

You want to keep things simple, yet still show that you are an awesome host. You want to be able to enjoy the day and not overload yourself. So, below I will show you some recipes that I saw online this week, that I plan on trying out for myself this weekend!


Let's get the mouth watering recipies going....

"Loaded Baked Potato" Football Dip-

If you are throwing a party, or even if it's just for you and your immediate family, how cute is this?! It also looks super delicious! What a perfect way to serve your loved ones and incorporate the Super Bowl theme into the dish itself. I cannot wait to try this!

Ingredients that you need for 48 servings:

3 pounds bacon

3 pounds (6 cups) sour cream

1/2 pound grated extra-sharp cheddar

1 cup chopped green onions for dip, plus more chopped green parts for the “grass.”

pinch of cayenne

1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

lots of potato chips


Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wings

Usually, it seems like with guys  anyway, you can never go wrong with chicken wings! In my opinion, this is a perfect treat for a Sunday Funday filled with football! The spiciness of this recipe, gives it a little extra kick!

What You Need:

1 Kilo - Chicken wings

2 Tbsp. - Cooking oil
1/2 Cup - All purpose flour
1/2 Tsp. - Salt
1/2 Tsp. - Pepper
1/2 Tbsp. - Dry chicken stock
1/2 Tsp. - Cayenne pepper

Sauce
1/2 Cup - Butter
1/2 Cup - Ketchup
2 Tbsp. - Honey
1/4 Cup - Hot pepper paste or hot sauce

Salt and pepper to taste



"Blooming Onion- Steakhouse Style"

This look amazing! I love a good blooming onion. This would also be a super hit for a Super Bowl Sunday!

Well, this blog topic probably wasn't the best one to choose to discuss on a day where I forgot to eat breakfast. I now am starving!
