All About Foundations & Face Powders...for a FLAWLESS face!

We all know that Monday's can be a total drag, but hopefully I can help you get through your morning with some makeup chatting fun! So, I don't know about you all, but I am constantly looking for a perfectly flawless foundation/powder routine. I am always trying different products, and likewise staying faithful to some of my favorites. I received a few questions and emails from my last blog on what kinds of foundations I liked best for a flawless look. So, while my list continues to grow daily of what products I feel are the best, I will let you know what my current favorites consist of. Below I will include a few high end and a few drugstore products that I feel can give you a beautiful look! I will start with my favorite primers, and then list concealers and foundations.
So... let's get started!
My Favorite Primers:
1) SMASHBOX PRIMERS:
Smashbox has some amazing primers! I particularly love the "Photo Finish- Pore Minimizing" one. This is currently in my makeup bag as we speak! If you lightly rub/dab it across the skin, it will create a super smooth and pore less base for your foundation. This will create a smooth and flawless look after applying your foundation/powder.

2) Tarte Primer:
(Tinted 12 Hour Primer)
-This is also a FAVORITE of mine! It is so great, that you could almost wear this by itself as a minimum coverage foundation during the summer, if you want something super lightweight. For a primer, however, it is tinted, so that it corrects any discolorations and minimizes pores.

3) Covergirl Outlast All-Day Primer:
This is a great drugstore primer, if you want a nice foundation base, without spending a lot of money! You can get this at any drugstore like Walgreens, or at stores such as Walmart, Target, Ulta, etc. for about $11.99
4) NYX Primer:
-This Primer is also great for a cheaper alternative. Nyx Cosmetics are some of my favorite drugstore brands!
This is also available at Target, Ulta, etc. Nyx has other kinds of primers for those with "shine"/oily skin and more!

5) My Favorite Concealers:
1) Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer:
This is my "go-to" drugstore concealer! This is only about $8.00!
2) It Cosmetics-Bye-Bye Under Eye:
This concealer is great if you like a creamy, feel that covers any discoloration! I also think this is an amazing choice for someone who is 30 years old and above, because it will not dry out your under eye and is more creamy, so it will not crape into your creases if you apply it correctly and blend it in. This is also available at Ulta.
You can find this for about $24.00.
My Favorite Foundations:
1) Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation:
This foundation is literally flawless! It is a more high end option, but it gives you the most beautiful look! You can find this at the Estee Lauder makeup counter, or order it online.

3) Tarte Foundation:
Tarte is a great brand of makeup as well!

4) Maybelline FIT me!
I LOVE this drugstore makeup brand! You can go with the dewy look or the matte pore less look! They also make powders to go with each type of foundation, as well as setting sprays designed for each type. Make sure you use a great primer for the matte foundation, otherwise it will stick to every blemish on you face. If you use a primer, though it creates a perfect matte finish!
