5 Beauty Products That I CAN'T Live Without!

Posted by Mary Elizabeth on

Happy Thursday,Beauties!

Today, I wanted to share with you 5 beauty products that I am so obsessed with. These would be five items that I would HAVE to have with me if I could only narrow down my beauty essentials to a few. This was challenging, because I have a routine every morning and have products that I am so used to using on a daily basis. But, I tried to pick my favorite, very affordable items that I felt you would love just as much as I do! Deidre & I both did a makeup tutorial on our insider page, PPB Sneak Peek..{GO JOIN THE GROUP} We talk about all things beauty and fashion related! We have a variety of beautiful customers on our page who can all relate to being a plus size, curvy woman! We have so much fun on there, so if you would like to see our new arrivals of plus size dresses, plus size tops, plus size skirts, and so much more..join the group!

So, if you're not into highlighting, don't judge me for listing this at the top of my list! Highlighting is something I am obsessed with, because whether you are going full glam, or literally just doing a touch of mascara and gloss, a little highlight just gives a radiant and glowing look. I love to highlight down the center of my nose, my "cupid's bow" (just above my lip) and my cheek bones. It gives such a beautiful, natural glow to hit in the key areas you would want to shimmer slightly.

1) HIGHLIGHTER: "Champagne Pop" by Becca

Look at how stunning this shimmer is! This can be purchased at Ulta, Sephora, and even ordered online! Prices vary around $35-$38. This is one of what I would consider my more "high end" items in my beauty bag, but it is also one of my FAVORITES! I cannot say enough how much I love this one!

                                              2) TO SHAPE YOUR EYEBROWS- Anastasia Dip Brow -

Shaping your eyebrows seriously does not have to take much time! Just adding a little definition to your brows truly frames your face and definitely makes you look younger! Let's face it, the 90's thin brows trend is definitely over with, and the more shapely, filled in look is the way to go now! This comes with the dip brow gel and you will need the brush also. But, it gives you the freedom to apply to product where you want for the shape you would like to achieve. YouTube has some awesome tutorials to show you how! The product, (without the brush), is about $18!

3) MASCARA- Maybelline Volume Express- The Rocket -Very Black -

Despite what they may try to sell you at the makeup counter, you don't have to spend a fortune to find a great mascara! My lashes are a decent length, and are pretty thick. But, being blonde, they don't show up as great without some mascara! I always love the "very black" color to truly make them pop! The wand on this mascara is amazing to avoid clumping and create a flawless look with long voluminous lashes! ....AND..... guess what? It can seriously be found almost anywhere, (Target, Walgreens, Walmart, ETC.) for about $5 - $7! You will LOVE this one!

4) Loreal Lipstick - "Fairest Nude"

I wear a lot of pinky nude tones. I feel that a neutral color is a great "go - to" look for so many different occasions and is surely a must have product! This is one of my favorite lippies because it is soft and moisturizing and glides on with that slightly creamy texture that won't dry your lips out throughout the day. You will LOVE this color!

5) Baked BRONZER by Milani - 04

Oh my goodness, from there bronzers, to their blushes...Milani NEVER disappoints! Plus, they are SO affordable! I can get pale during the Fall/Winter months, so a little bronzer/contour truly adds the perfect pop of color to the face! This is a baked bronzer with beautiful shades of slight shimmer to give you a glowing, natural bronzed look. As long as you apply it correctly, and buff it out, you cannot go wrong with this!

I hope this blog gave you a few tips and options for affordable products that will create a flawless finish! Thanks for reading, and if you have any questions just comment below or email me directly at mary@perfectlypriscilla.com!
